15 January 2014 I am up in FNQ (Far North Queensland) for a weeks holiday.
Given it is the wet season, there is very little chance of seeing anything in the sky – apart from cloud and rain. It is a really nice time to be here – given how green everything is compared to Canberra at present. Nothing beats swimming in a warm swimming pool with cool rain pouring down.
I did attempt one set of night time photographs – which turned out reasonably well once I worked out why the camera wasn’t doing what it was supposed to be doing. It helps if you take the lens cap off! 🙂
