Mars, Saturn, Venus and the Moon in the morning sky (29 January 2014)

Posted 27 January 2014 Early risers, don’t forget to look to the East this Wednesday morning (29 January 2014) in the pre-dawn sky to see the planets Mars, Saturn and Venus lined up along the ecliptic. Strictly speaking, they will be in that part of the sky for a while, but if you look Wednesday morning Venus will be joined by the waning crescent Moon.
