Gas leak cancels Discovery launch until November 30

A gas leak between the Space Shuttle Discovery’s external fuel tank and the umbilical line that is used to fill it, and a crack in the external fuel tanks insulation has resulted in the the launch of the Space Shuttle being cancelled. At this stage, NASA is not sure how long repairs will take. The next launch window in which the Space Shuttle can be launched on, opens November 30 and closes December 5 2010.
