Chinese Space Station plans emerge

An image and some information have emerged overnight for China’s planned space station. SpaceDaily.com has an article on what Chinese officials expect the station to look like.

For those familiar with the USSR’s series of space stations (including the Mir space station), the shape of each module is very familiar. China became only the third country to independently launch an taikonaut (the Chinese name for an astronaut or cosmonaut) on 15 October 2003 (Shenzhou 5).
