The Term 1 2013 edition of my ‘Amazing Space!’ newsletter for students is now available for free download from this website. This term’s issue includes:

  • Finder charts for Jupiter and Saturn
  • Constellation finder charts for the Southern Cross and Orion
  • Moon phases for January – March 2013
  • A pinhole viewer and viewing times for the 10 May 2013 Partial / Annular Solar Eclipse

Note that if you live in Southern Australia, on Monday 18 February 2013 the Moon will occult (temporarily cover) the Jupiter. Download the newsletter here (Adobe Acrobat format).
