Lead scientist of Mars Rover camera team speaks at University of Queensland

The lead scientist for the Mars Rover camera team Professor Jim Bell, who is the lead scientist on the Mars Rover camera team, will speak on the challenges the team faced in getting the project approved, and what information the rovers have collected during their time on the red planet.

The talk is being presented as part of  The University of Queensland’s Centenary oration series at 6.30pm on Wednesday July 14. Professor Bell currently works at the Cornell Unversity Astronomy Department’s Centre for Radiophysics and Space Research. He is the sixth speaker in the UQ Centenary Oration Series.

The talk is being held on Wednesday 14 July 2010 @ 6.30pm – 7.30pm at the Auditorium, Queensland Bioscience Precinct, University of Queensland, St Lucia Campus.
