The 151st space walk from the International Space Station (and the 27 Russian spacewalk) will be webcast by NASA TV this coming Friday night. The spacewalk is planned to last six hours.
(Text in italics from NASA website). ‘Two Russian cosmonauts will venture outside the International Space Station on Jan. 21 to complete installation of a new high-speed data transmission system, remove an old plasma pulse experiment, install a camera for the new Rassvet docking module and retrieve a materials exposure package. Expedition 26 Flight Engineers Dmitry Kondratyev and Oleg Skripochka are scheduled to float outside the Pirs airlock at 9:20 a.m. EST to begin the six-hour excursion. The spacewalk webcast is currently scheduled to begin from Midnight Friday 21 January AEST (add one hour if your Australian East Coast location follows ‘Summer Time). The actual spacewalk is currently scheduled to begin at 12.20am AEST Saturday morning.
