(Posted 27 August 2014) The cloud was kind earlier this evening and cleared above the Brindabella’s to allow me to take an image of the slim crescent Moon and Mercury low above the Western horizon. The thing I like in particular about the image is seeing the night side of the Moon lit up by Earthshine.
