NASA has released a 40 frame animation or video clip of the flyby of Comet Hartley 2 yesterday Australian time made up of images taken by the medium resolution imager onboard the EPOXI spacecraft. The first image was taken at about 37 minutes before the time of closest approach at a distance of about 27,350 kilometers with the last image was taken 30 minutes after closest approach at a distance of 22,200 kilometers.
