Venus during the day

Finally managed to get a photograph of Venus today.  🙂

Depending on the time of year, it is possible to see Venus during the day with the unaided eye or a pair of binoculars. Venus is currently fairly close to the Sun so I had to carefully position myself behind a bush. Getting the photo was frustrating because I could see Venus in the binoculars but not with my camera. It was a case of take a couple of photos outside then examine them on my computer screen. For the record, the photograph was taken at approximately 12.10pm.
