Update: Bad weather has cancelled the latest attempt to launch the Space Shuttle Discovery. The next attempt will be Saturday morning Australian time.
The Space Shuttle Discovery launch is now scheduled for 5.29 am AEST tomorrow morning (add one hour if daylight savings applies in your location). Weather is now apparently the only threat to the launch.
Watch the launch live on NASA TV. Spaceflightnow.com has a detailed schedule of when key events on the flight will be webcast online. Assuming the launch happens as scheduled, residents of Southern Australia will be able to see the Space Shuttle and International Space Station pass overhead in the morning sky. Information on how to obtain customised viewing information for your location can be found here on my site.
