Look for Mars, Saturn and the Moon tonight

Tonight presents an ideal opportunity to locate Mars and Saturn. No telescope is required. Just look tonight above the Eastern horizon as per the below finder chart at 11.30 pm AEST (add one hour if your location follows daylight savings time). The star Spica is the brightest star in the ancient Greek constellation Virgo the Virgin.

Finder chart prepared for Brisbane, Queensland (Australia) for 11.30 pm AEST Sunday 12 February 2012. The chart will also be useful for other locations across Eastern Australia. Add one hour if your location follows daylight savings time.
