Saturn can be easily found high above the Northern horizon.
Print off a copy of the below finder chart, step outside and face North at 6.30pm AEST. Saturn is the left hand ‘star’ in the imaginary triangle shown on the chart. Note that even a small telescope will show Saturn’s rings.
The chart has been prepared for Brisbane (Queensland, Australia), but will still be useful for other locations in Eastern Australia such as Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne.
