See the Apollo 11 and Apollo 17 landing sites tonight! 7pm 17 May 2021

(Posted 17 May 2021) If you have a small telescope, you can look at the region where the Apollo 11 astronauts first walked on the Moon. Note that even the largest telescope on Earth or the Hubble Space Telescope can’t see the actual site. For that you, can look at images taken by NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter.
